Jonathon, often referred to around the shop as "Carlos," started his BBQ adventure more than a decade ago, however did not start honing the craft until recent years through competition on the KCBS circuit. Jonathon's passion and knowledge for BBQ is contagious and he will help you leave feeling confident to cook any dish in your backyard for many years to come. Born in California, Jonathon graduated from the University of California, Irvine in 2016. He moved here with his wife Christina in 2017 and now they have two kiddos who are future pitmasters training. When he’s not behind a grill, Jonathon enjoys hanging out with his family, camping, hunting and enjoying all things Colorado.
