Born and raised in Lakewood, CO John never knew barbecue outside of ribs baked in a dish full of sauce growing up. After working construction at a new barbecue joint he gained interest in smoking meats himself and now strives to perfect his craft and share the joy of backyard barbecuing with his friends, family and our customers. When he’s not working you can find him fishing, playing a round of sporting clays, or riding motorcycles.
